What does the employee see after signing in?

The employee sees the work computer or computers approved for that account and opens a remote session to use the office computer.

Can a user access every computer in the company?

No. NerdTeks configures each account for the approved work computer or computers identified by your business during setup.

What happens if the office computer is turned off?

The user cannot start a normal remote session while the assigned computer is powered off, asleep, or disconnected from the internet. We explain the recommended power settings during setup.

Is this the same as a VPN?

No. This service opens a remote session to the assigned office computer instead of placing the employee's access device directly on the office network. Some business environments may still require a different or additional solution.

What support is included?

Business-hours connection assistance is included with the standard service. Computer repairs, home internet troubleshooting, application support, and after-hours assistance are separate unless included in another NerdTeks agreement.

Can we add more employees later?

Yes. Additional named users and computers can be reviewed and quoted based on the access your business approves.
